Fellow countrymen, comrades and friends,
今天，我們隆重集會，慶祝中華人民共和國成立６０周年。在這個喜慶而又莊嚴的時刻，全國各族人民都為偉大祖國的發(fā)展進步感到無比自豪，都對實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復興的光明前景充滿信心。
Today, we hold a grand celebration to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. At this cheerful and solemn moment, people from all over the country’s ethnic groups are extremely proud of our great nation’s development and progress and are confident of the Chinese nation’s bright prospect on the road to revival.
在這里，我代表黨中央、全國人大、國務院、全國政協(xié)和中央軍委，向一切為民族獨立和人民解放、國家富強和人民幸福建立了不朽功勛的革命先輩和烈士們，表示深切的懷念！向全國各族人民和海內外愛國同胞，致以熱烈的祝賀！向關心和支持中國發(fā)展的各國朋友，表示衷心的感謝！
On behalf of the CPC Central Committee, the National People’s Congress, the State Council, the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the Central Military Commission, I hereby pay tribute to all the revolutionary pioneers of older generations and martyrs who made great contributions to realizing national independence and liberation of the people, the country’s prosperity and strength and happy life of the people. ６０年前的今天，中國人民經(jīng)過近代以來１００多年的浴血奮戰(zhàn)終于奪取了中國革命的偉大勝利，毛澤東主席在這里向世界莊嚴宣告了中華人民共和國的成立。中國人民從此站起來了，具有５０００多年文明歷史的中華民族從此進入了發(fā)展進步的歷史新紀元
